KYIV, Voice 9, International Desk: According to Ukrainian
authorities, Russia conducted a combined air attack in Ukraine, resulting in
the deaths of at least four civilians and causing damage to residential and
commercial areas.
Local officials
reported that two individuals were killed in the western Khmelnytskyi region,
where critical infrastructure was also targeted. In Kryvyi Rih, a 62-year-old
individual lost their life, and a shopping center along with numerous private
homes and apartment buildings were damaged due to nine Russian missiles hitting
the city. Regional governor Serhiy Lysak expressed his condemnation of the
attack, stating that the enemy once again targeted innocent civilians with
directed missiles.
The attack specifically targeted
facilities associated with Ukraine's military-industrial complex, as reported
in the daily dispatch. In response, Ukraine claimed that its air defenses
managed to intercept and destroy 18 out of the 51 missiles launched by Russia.
This lower shoot-down rate was attributed to the significant number of
ballistic missiles fired by Russia, according to Kyiv.
