999.
A caller named Hridoy (25)
called the 'National Emergency Service 999' from a shop near the passport
office on Khanka Road under Kadamtoli police station in Dhaka at 4:15 am on
Tuesday (September 26). 999 immediately reported the matter to the Kadamtali
police station and asked for immediate action.
A case has been registered, and
the caller has been handed over to the court for trial. Constable Mithun Soren
acted as a call taker on 999. ASI Md. Rabiar was in charge of the 999 police
dispatch, and SI Al Amin led the police team at Kadamtali police station.
