Voice 9, National Desk: On Sunday afternoon, tragedy struck as two students lost their lives in a lake near Gannavaram. The incident occurred when a group of six friends from Patamata, Vijayawada, decided to have a photoshoot at Bapata Lake in Savarigudem, which is located near Gannavaram Mandal in Krishna district. While four of the friends, namely A. Raja Reddy, Vikram Abhinav Chowdary, M. Shrayes, and N. Gautham, were capturing moments by the lakeside, two of them ventured into the waters. Unfortunately, these two individuals drowned.

Upon receiving the distressing news, the police promptly responded, arriving at the scene and successfully retrieving the bodies from the lake. The bodies were then transferred to the government hospital for an autopsy. A case has been registered, and the investigation is currently underway.
