National Film Award Announcement, Best Actor Chanchal Chowdhury

Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: The Ministry of Information has recently announced the 'National Film Award 2022' recipients. Suchinth Chowdhury (Chanchal Chowdhury) has been selected as the best actor for his remarkable performance in the film 'Hawa', while Jaya Ahsan has been recognized for her outstanding portrayal in 'Beauty Circus' and Rikita Nandini Shimu for her exceptional role in 'Shimu'.

According to a notification issued on Tuesday (October 31) by the Ministry of Information, the list of National Film Award winners has been revealed. The films 'Kura Pakhir Zhunne Uda' by Muhammad Abdul Qayyum and 'Paran' by Md. Tamjid ul Alam has been jointly chosen as the best film. Syeda Rubaiyat Hossain has also been honoured as the best film director for her work in the film 'Shimu'. This year, a total of 27 artists and crews have been nominated for the National Film Award, acknowledging their significant and commendable contributions to the film industry.
