Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: Hero Alam, a well-known YouTuber and content creator, has not been nominated for the 12th National Election, as confirmed by Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Md. Saiful Islam on Sunday, December 3, at approximately 11 o'clock. His nomination has been canceled. However, due to his failure to provide the required documents and accurate information during the verification of nomination papers at the District Commissioner's office on Sunday, his nomination was canceled. The candidate has the option to appeal against this decision if desired.
Upon exiting the returning
officer's office, Hero Alam stated that his lawyer had mistakenly filled out
the individual nomination form instead of the party nomination form, and there
was a missing signature in the affidavit. Although these issues could have been
rectified that day, other candidates raised objections, and his nomination was
subsequently canceled. However, Hero Alam expressed that there was no issue
with this and that he would appeal to the Election Commission or even the High
Court if necessary. He affirmed his commitment to remain in the voting field.
