Voice 9, International News Desk: Police have
confirmed that a jeep with an Indian number plate was discovered in the
Trishuli River in the Chitwan district of Nepal. According to Deputy
Superintendent of Police Shreeram Bhandari, divers were able to locate and
verify the presence of the Jeep in the river.
Earlier in the day, local residents near the
Ikshyakamana Village Council-5 had alerted the authorities, suspecting that a
vehicle had fallen into the river. The officer further confirmed that the jeep
had veered off the road and plunged approximately 85 meters into the river.
