The stage of the Rishra Fair was adorned with poetry and songs



Hooghly,Voice 9: The 32nd Rishra Fair in Bengali through poetry and songs was staged at Anup Ghoshal Manch. Murali Choudhury, the founder of the organization, expressed gratitude to Bijoy Sagar Mishra, the chairman of the Rishra Municipality, for providing the stage.




Renowned poet Ravi Pratap Singh presided over the event in Kolkata. Rajendra Shah conducted the event. The chief guests were Ranjit Prasad, Dr. Shahid Farogi, and Shubh Kar Ray. The event began with Saraswati Vandana by Rima Pandey. The Rishra Fair's archway was inaugurated on the occasion of poet Michael Madhusudan Dutt's 200th birth anniversary.



Therefore, the soft and melodious songs written by Michael were presented as team songs under the leadership of Mrigula Chatterjee and Sandip Chatterjee. Ruma Chatterjee and Jhuma Ghosh recited their self-composed poems by Michael. Abhijit Mishra, Anamika Singh, Shanta Kar Ray, Dona Bhattacharya, Sushil Sharma, Sipali Gupta, Shampa Ghoshal, Paramita Mukherjee, Kakuli Sarkar, Ranjana Bhattacharya, Indrani De, and Tulika Rakshit made the event attractive through their presentations.
