Voice 9, New Delhi Bureau: The city of Lucknow is hosting the 'Know Your Army Festival', which was inaugurated by CM Yogi. This festival will span over a period of three days. One of the highlights of the festival is an exhibition showcasing military equipment and weapons.
The purpose
of this exhibition is to create excitement for the Army Day Parade on January
15, which will be held in Lucknow for the first time and will be open to the
public.
Shantanu
Pratap Singh, the Defense Public Relations Officer, mentioned that visitors
will have the opportunity to witness a wide range of weaponry and equipment,
ranging from vintage to state-of-the-art next-generation technology.
The festival will also feature various performances by the Indian Army, including martial arts demonstrations, rock climbing and rappelling shows, an army dog show, hot air ballooning, and a performance by the military pipe band.
Additionally,
the 'Know Your Army Festival' includes a help desk set up by the Zonal
Recruiting Office, where visitors can obtain information about opportunities
within the Indian Army. The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on
each day of the festival.
