Narayanganj: Drugs worth half a crore of rupees were destroyed on the court premises in Narayanganj



Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: Narcotics worth half a crore rupees seized in different cases in Narayanganj have been destroyed by the court.

On Monday (March 11) afternoon, Senior Judicial Magistrate Haider Ali and Superintendent of Police Golam Mostafa Rasel destroyed the narcotics.

According to the court, a total of 232 kg of 28 grams of ganja and 779 grams of puria ganja, 24,844 pieces of yaba and 20 grams of heroin, 1,037 bottles of phensedyl, 105 liters of cholai liquor, 70 cans of beer, 302 bottles of foreign liquor, and two injections used during intoxication were destroyed.



Deputy Inspector General of Rangpur Range Police, Devdas Bhattacharya, Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Abdul Alim Mahmud, District Council Chairman Advocate Chhafia Khanom, Police Super Mizanur Rahman, Acting President of the district Awami League Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, and its city unit President Shafiur Rahman Shafi also spoke on the occasion as special guests.
