Individuals seeking visas were advised that they would receive notifications regarding future dates via SMS and were instructed to retrieve their passports the following business day, as outlined in the report.
The notice stated, "All Indian visa application centers will be non-operational until further communication, given the precarious state of affairs. Details about the subsequent application schedule will be relayed through SMS, and individuals are urged to collect their passports on the ensuing working day," as per the report.
