Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee directed to take strict action against the
heinous abuse of a female doctor at RJ Kar Hospital, in protest against the
hospital vandalism and demanded exemplary punishment for the criminals involved
in this incident.
A demonstration was held in Bali More, Polba Dadpur Block, Alinagar, where honorable MLA Tapan Dasgupta, Ranjan Dhar, Chairman of Hooghly District Council, Amit Ray, Mayor of Hooghly Chunchura Municipality, Aditya Nyogi, Mayor of Bansberia Municipality, Subhash Ghosh, Block Chairman, Malati Hansda, President of the Panchayat Committee, Tanseem Ali Mondal, Vice-Chairman, District Council members Tia Patra, Shakila Khatoon, Municipal members Jhantu Biswas, Joydeb Adhikari, Divyendu Adhikari, Deputy Chief Sudip Malik, Panchayat Chairman Shamim Mondal, and others were present at the demonstration.
