News Desk (National) Sangbad Voice 9, New Delhi: In the locality of Dhankawadi, a harrowing incident involving a 14-year-old boy who allegedly assaulted his mother following her decision to deactivate his mobile phone. In a fit of rage, he struck her with a wooden photo frame and made an attempt to stab her with a pair of scissors.
The Sahakarnagar police have duly registered a case in response to this alarming event.
On a seemingly ordinary Monday, the mother and her son were engrossed in watching serials on their respective mobile devices. However, once the series concluded, the mother took the initiative to switch off her phone.
This seemingly innocuous act ignited a temper of fury within the boy, who retaliated by violently smashing a wooden frame against her head. In a further escalation, he seized a pair of scissors and lunged at her, but she managed to evade his attack. The situation deteriorated as he resorted to kicking and verbally abusing her, even going so far as to shatter the windows of their home.
The mother’s complaint revealed that such erratic behavior is not an isolated incident. After conferring with her husband, they resolved to approach the authorities, leading to the registration of a formal complaint. Subsequently, counseling sessions for the boy have been initiated.
The 39-year-old mother has formally lodged her grievance with the police. The boy resides in Dhankawadi with his parents and his 17-year-old sister. According to the allegations, he has been perpetrating physical assaults against family members for the past two years. He is known to frequently demand money, and upon refusal, he exhibits violent tendencies, resulting in the vandalism of household possessions. The complaint further elucidated that he has also physically assaulted both his sister and father.
