Bangladesh: 4 killed as two motorcycles collide


Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: A young man has been killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles at the Padma Bridge toll plaza area in Jajira, Shariatpur. Four people were killed in the incident.

The incident took place at the toll plaza of Padma Bridge in the Naodoba area of the upazila around 9 p.m. on Sunday (November 3).
The deceased were identified as Arman Dhali, 18, son of Dadan Dhali of Moslem Dhali Kandi area of Naodoba union; Khidir Madbor, 20, son of Alim Madbor of the same area; Momin Ali Farazi, 18, son of Rubel Farazi of Kandi area; and Sayem, 19, son of Eskender Ali Madbor.
According to local and police sources, two motorcycles collided on the road leading to Sheikh Russell Cantonment in the Naodoba Padma Bridge toll plaza area of the upazila on Sunday night. Three youths, identified as Arman, Khidir, and Nabil, died on the spot. Another young man was seriously injured in the accident. Later, he died on the way to Dhaka.
Confirming the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police (Naria Circle) Ahsan Habib said that 4 people were killed in a head-on collision between two motorcycles. Further action will be taken according to this.
