The UP and Punjab police have achieved a major success in the Pilibhit
district of Uttar Pradesh. Three terrorists have been killed in an encounter
between security forces and terrorists in Punjab. All three terrorists were
affiliated with the proscribed terror outfit Khalistan Zindabad Force. An AK-47
rifle and two pistols were recovered from the site. The three had hurled a
grenade at the Gurdaspur post.
The encounter was a breakthrough against the "Khalistan Zindabad Force [KZF] terror module," according to Gaurav Yadav, Director-General of Police, Punjab. He stated that the deceased were part of a grenade attack that took place on December 18 at the Bakshiwala police post in Gurdaspur.
