Sangbad Voice 9, New Delhi: A young man from Kerala was slain while serving
in the Russian Army on the front lines of the conflict with Ukraine, and his
family member was gravely wounded. The deceased has been named as Binil T. B.,
32, who lived in the Thrissur district of Wadakkanchery, Kerala. Jain T K, 27,
who is also from the same area, has been recognized as the injured party.
Although they were unable to get in touch with the two men, Binil's family
learned a few days ago that they had been hurt in a drone attack.
After being recruited from India on the pretense of working as military
support staff, this is the second Keralite to die while serving in the Russian
army. Sandeep, a Thrissur native, was killed in a drone attack in August of
last year.
In April, a number of Indian youngsters, including Binil and Jain, traveled to
Russia with the intention of working as drivers, plumbers, electricians, and
cooks for the nation's military support service. Rather, they were forced to
renounce their Indian passports, settle down permanently, join the Russian
army, and labor on the front lines of the conflict.
The information was obtained by Binil's wife, Joicy, who has been in
contact with the Indian Embassy in Moscow, according to Saneesh, a relative of
the two men. Officials verified Binil's death verbally when she phoned them.
According to the officials, the Russian Army provided them with information on
this topic.
According to Binil's most recent letter, they are compelled to relocate to the
war's front lines, which puts their lives in much greater danger.
