Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: After failing to rape his sister-in-law in the
middle of the night, a young man by the name of Md. Ilias killed two kids in
Barguna, Barisal. He was taken into custody. Md. Ilias lives in Barguna
district's Khajur Tala housing. On Friday morning, the tragedy happened in the
hamlet of Roadpara in the Phuljhari union of the Sadar upazila. Hafizur, age
13, and Taifa, age 3, were named as the deceased.
Police
Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AKM in Barguna Sadar Mizanur Rahman said that
Md. Ilias, the eldest sister's son-in-law, went to her home late at night to
rape her. Elias began hitting his sister-in-law when she resisted the rape.
Taifa, the daughter of her sister-in-law, and Hafizul, a neighbor, died. The
sister-in-law sustained damage. According to him, the man was transported in
serious condition to the Barishal Sher-e Bangla Medical College Hospital.
