Upon investigating a 'gas smell' in her son's room, a mother found a deceased lady wrapped in plastic



Voice 9, International Desk: Hannah Rachel Collins was discovered dead and wrapped in plastic after a woman noticed a "gas smell" in her son's room. According to police, a complaint of a potential homicide was received around 1:13 a.m. on Sunday in the 2200 block of Wall Street. According to the police, a mother went into her son's room because there was a "gas smell," but when she went inside, she found a woman's body wrapped in plastic.

Homicide detectives are hunting for the suspect, a Hispanic guy in his late twenties, and are conducting an investigation. They haven't even brought forward his name, a more detailed description, a photo, or any other proof purportedly connecting him to a crime. They are otherwise keeping relatively quiet about him.

Hannah Rachel Collins, 30 years old, was the victim, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office. Her death's cause and manner are currently under investigation.

Police withheld details about how they believed she passed away, how she could have ended up at the house, and whether or not she and the suspect were acquainted.
