Voice 9, New Delhi Bureau: On Tuesday night, an electric multiple unit (EMU) train originating from Delhi's Shakur Basti railway station ascended onto a platform at Mathura railway station. Fortunately, no casualties were reported at the scene.
According to SK Srivastava, the
director of Mathura Station, all passengers had already disembarked from the
train prior to the occurrence of the incident. The cause of the incident is
still under investigation and yet to be determined.
"This train comes from
Shakur Basti. The train arrived at 10:49 p.m. All passengers had deboarded the
train. Suddenly, the train climbed the platform. We are investigating the cause
of this incident," SK Srivastava told ANI.
