Voice 9, Patna: Following Raksha Bandhan on
Thursday, five kids in Bihar's Aurangabad district drowned while taking a dip
in a nearby pond, according to authorities. Around 11 a.m., the incident was
reported in Sonarchak Village under Salaiya Police Station. The victims entered
the pond for a bath but didn't realize how deep it was, and they drowned.
The bodies were taken away by the townspeople.
They took them to the hospital, where they were all confirmed dead. The
deceased have been named as Sonarchak village residents Dhiraj Kumar, 10,
Neeraj Kumar, 12, Prince Kumar, 10, Golu Kumar, 12, and Amit Kumar, 8. The
tragedy has shocked everyone in the village.
