Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: One individual has been
apprehended in Khulna for possession of weapons and ammunition. The suspect,
identified as FM Hadiuzzaman Arif, aged 40, was arrested in the Madinabagh
residential area of Khalishpur on the night of October 10.
The police recovered one foreign pistol and
three rounds of pistol bullets from his possession. Arif is the son of Md.
Obaidullah from the Deyana Mukul Bhandar Mor area of Daulatpur police station.
He has been involved in various criminal activities, including arms and
drug-related offenses, and has six cases against him.
According to the police, Arif was previously
arrested in 2021 by the Khalishpur Thana police for possessing weapons. A case
was filed at the Kushtia Sadar Police Station in connection with that incident.
However, after being released on bail, he once again engaged in terrorist
activities.
