Voice 9, Hooghly: The Trinamool
Congress orchestrated a protest rally today to express their discontent with the
central government's neglect of Bengal. The rally aimed to highlight the
deprivation of funds, including the outstanding money for the Bangla Awas
Yojana and 100 days’ work. This initiative was announced by Mamata Banerjee,
the leader of the Trinamool Congress and Chief Minister of West Bengal.
The protest march took place from Ward No. 1 to 8 of Banshberia Municipality, from Alinagar to Kashara in Amnan Panchayat, and from Baral to Jamai Jangal in Akna Panchayat. The esteemed MLAs of Saptagram Legislative Assembly, Tapan Dasgupta, Zilla Parishad President Ranjan Dhara, Banshbaria Municipality Chairman Aditya Nyoggi, INTTUC President Manoj Chakraborty, and Polba Dadpur Panchayat Samiti Vice President Tansen Ali Mandal, along with other leaders, participated in this demonstration.
