Bangladesh: Health Minister Orders Closure of Unlicensed Hospitals and Clinics

Voice 9, Dhaka Bureauঃ   Dr. Samant Lal Sen, the coordinator of the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, has recently received the responsibility of the new Health Minister. Within a week of taking on the responsibility, he has ordered the closure of all hospitals, diagnostic centers, and clinics. There will be no exception for unauthorized hospitals."
Regarding the death of Ayan, Dr. Samant Lal Sen said, "The death of the child Ayan is a very tragic incident. Appropriate measures will be taken regarding Ayan's death.
