'Kishore Gang' celebrates murder by cutting cake; five arrested

Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: The elite force of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested five people, including teenage gang leaders Tan Akash and Galkata Rabbi, in connection with the murder of Faisal in the capital's Pallabi area. Faisal was killed mainly for maintaining dominance in the 'Kishore Gang', including internal conflicts and the sharing of drug money. The accused were also involved in several cases of drug peddling.
Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of RAB's legal and media wing, disclosed the information at a press conference at the RAB Media Centre in Karwanbazar on Saturday (March 23).
In the video footage, the members of the 'Galkata Rabbi' group were seen in public after they hacked Faisal and Rashed, members of another teenage gang 'Paper Sunny' group, with sharp weapons in Pallabi on Saturday (March 16) evening.
Not only that, after the murder, members of the 'Kishore Gang', Galkata Rabbi Group, enjoyed the night by cutting fireworks and cakes. Meanwhile, he died at the hospital. The accused Galkata Rabbi, Tan Akash, and others jumped into the well to save themselves.
Confirming the matter, Commander Khandaker Al Moin said RAB-4 arrested them in separate raids in Narsingdi and Gazipur on Friday night. Earlier, DB police conducted raids in Patuakhali, Netrokona, and the capital and arrested 10 people in connection with the same murder.
According to RAB, the arrested Rabbi formed a 'Kishore Gang' named 'Galkata Rabbi' 4-5 months ago and used to carry out various terrorist activities, including fights, snatching, extortion, robbery, drug consumption, and drug peddling in the Mirpur area. He has several cases of murder, kidnapping, and looting registered against him. He has been arrested several times in connection with these cases.
Akash is one of the members of the Galkata Rabbi gang in the Mirpur Pallabi area. He led the group in various terrorist activities.
Rasel, Imran, and Nayan Kishore, who were earlier arrested in the case, are members of the 'Galkata Rabbi' group. Under the leadership of Rabbi and Akash, they carried out various terrorist activities in the area, including snatching, extortion, robbery, drug consumption, and trading.
