Austria and India's Historic Connection: PM Modi's Insights

 Voice 9, New Delhi Bureau and ANI: Speaking at a community gathering in Vienna on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the long and rich histories and cultures of both Austria and India, pointing out that these connections have been beneficial for commerce and cultural interaction between the two nations.

Austria's history and culture are as ancient and majestic as those of India. Our interactions with one another have also been historic. Both nations have benefited from this. At the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi stated, "This benefit has been regarding culture as well as commerce."
Additionally, PM Modi noted that India's ideas and deeds are highly regarded around the globe and emphasized that for thousands of years, India has shared knowledge and experience with the world, fostering peace and prosperity rather than war.

"Across the world, a lot of discussion is going on over India...What is India thinking today? What is India doing? It is essential to build a better-informed world regarding this. We have shared knowledge and expertise with the world for thousands of years. We can proudly say that India has not given 'yuddh' (war) but 'Buddha'. When I speak of Buddha, it means that India has always given peace and prosperity."
