Modi's Visit Impact: Russia to release Indian Nationals from Ukrainian War!

"Breaking News: Indian Nationals in Ukrainian War to be Freed by Russia after Modi's Visit!"

Voice 9, International Desk: Russia has consented to release Indian nationals from its military service after Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the matter with President Vladimir Putin during his recent visit to Moscow. India's foreign minister, Vinay Kwatra, disclosed that Modi vigorously discussed the early discharge of Indian nationals who were misled into serving in the Russian army with Putin.

Kwatra expressed that the prime minister's stance was well-received, and the Russian authorities pledged prompt discharge. The exact number of Indian nationals coerced into joining Moscow's military remains uncertain, with estimates ranging from 35 to 50 individuals. To date, 10 individuals have been successfully repatriated to India.

India and Russia are now collaborating to expedite the repatriation process and ensure the safe return of these individuals to their homelands. Tragically, two Indian citizens serving as soldiers in the Russian Armed Forces have lost their lives in the conflict in Ukraine.

Numerous individuals stranded in the war-torn region allege that they were deceived into military service under the pretense of lucrative employment opportunities. In February, New Delhi asserted its demand for the return of its citizens, who were initially recruited for non-combat roles within the Russian military.

In March, the Indian government reiterated its concerns to Russia and undertook decisive measures against deceitful recruiters. Despite these actions, the Kremlin refrained from commenting on the matter, as reported by NDTV. Modi's recent visit to Moscow marks his first official trip to Russia since the commencement of the Ukrainian invasion in early 2022.
