Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: A fire incident occurred in a multi-story building in Dhanmondi, the capital of
Dhaka. The fire is being controlled by six units of the Fire Service. Three
individuals who were trapped have been rescued in injured condition.
On Wednesday, August 21, at 11 a.m., Deputy Officer Lima Khan of the Fire
Service confirmed the incident to the media.
She mentioned that they received news of a fire breaking out on the eighth
floor of a ten-story building in Dhanmondi Number 5 at 10:25 a.m. Subsequently,
their six units rushed to the scene to control the fire. However, the cause of
the fire and any casualties are yet to be determined by the firefighters.
