Unidentified Flying Object in the vicinity of Imphal Airport. Was it a drone?

Voice 9, North-East Bureau: Imphal Airport was placed on high alert on Sunday afternoon after security personnel spotted an unidentified flying object. At precisely 2:30 pm, the Imphal Air Traffic Control (ATC) received a call from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) control room reporting the sighting of an unidentified flying object directly above the ATC tower. This peculiar object was not only visible from the terrace of the ATC tower but also observed by individuals on the ground, including airline and CISF personnel.
The object exhibited a white coloration. It proceeded to traverse the terminal building, moving in a southerly direction above the ATC tower, where it eventually came to a halt for a period of time. Subsequently, it altered its course to the southwest of the runway, where it remained until 4:05 pm, at which point it vanished from sight. It is worth noting that the sunset occurred at 4:26 pm. As a result, three flights were affected, but operations resumed at 5.30 pm.
The Eastern Command of the Indian Air Force activated its Air Defence response mechanism in response to the incident. In a statement on X, the Eastern Command stated that the Air Defence response mechanism was activated based on visual inputs from Imphal airport, but the small object was not seen thereafter. A passenger named M Pramod, who was traveling to Chandigarh, expressed that his flight was delayed due to the incident.
He mentioned that they would now be traveling to Chandigarh the following day with a re-issued ticket. The presence of a UAV drone hovering around Bir Tikendrajit Imphal International Airport caused delays for all incoming and outgoing flights.
