The object exhibited a white coloration. It proceeded to traverse the terminal building, moving in a southerly direction above the ATC tower, where it eventually came to a halt for a period of time. Subsequently, it altered its course to the southwest of the runway, where it remained until 4:05 pm, at which point it vanished from sight. It is worth noting that the sunset occurred at 4:26 pm.
As a result, three flights were affected, but operations resumed at 5.30 pm.
The Eastern Command of the Indian Air Force activated its Air Defence response mechanism in response to the incident.
