Sangbad Voice 9: Similar to last year, the 'Kalame Tarakeswar' literary journal is launching the Hooghly district's Tarakeswar Book Fair today. From December 25 to December 31, the fair will take place on the campus of Tarakeswar Mahavidyalaya. Publishing houses from Kolkata are taking part in the event. According to reports, the program aims to share information and raise people's awareness of the importance of reading books.
On behalf the committee, Sudipta Ghosh, Sourav Ganguly and Sumanta Bera say a parade in the afternoon will precede the book fair's opening. Every day, there will be a variety of cultural events. There will also be a display of artworks by well-known painters. A poets' conference featuring poets from various regions of the state will take place on December 26 and 27. Conference on "Freedom Fighters" on December 28.
