From 1981 until 2007, he worked honestly
and devotedly as an assistant teacher and assistant headmaster in numerous
secondary schools in Nazirpur upazila of Pirojpur district. After finishing his
tenure at Malikhali Secondary School, he retired. Additionally, he presided
over the Upazila Puja Udjapan Parishad, the 14 Para Hindu Samaj Kalyan Samiti,
and the Nazirpur Upazila Teachers Association. The illustrious career of a
moral man comes to an end today.
His passing had an impact on the neighborhood.
Former and current upazila students, local governmental officials, journalists,
and leaders of civil society have all expressed their profound grief at Girish
sir's passing and their sympathies to the grieving family. He was well-liked,
respected, and adored in his community. At 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, his last rites
were conducted in the courtyard of his home.
His wife, Shobha Rani Mandal, four daughters,
Gayatri Mondal, Pushpita Mondal, and Kakoli Mandal, one son, Santanu Mondal,
and a large number of relatives remain.
