Voice 9, Bengaluru: A managing director and the CEO of a newly established online firm in Bengaluru were reportedly killed inside their office on Tuesday afternoon in Amrutahalli, in the city's northeast, by an ex-colleague and his cronies. He has not yet been arrested.
Deputy commissioner of police-North East, Laxmi
Prasad, told the media: "The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vinu Kumar and
Managing Director Phanindra Subramanya of Aeronics Internet Company were hacked
to death by their former colleague and his two men inside their office in
Pampanagar. The accused trio attacked them with sharp weapons. Both died on the
way to the hospital."
The prime suspect, according to the
authorities, is Felix, with whom the victims previously worked. The identities
of Felix's traveling companions, the other two suspects, remain unknown.
It is known that Phanindra and Vinu Kumar
launched Aeronics in November 2022. Before that, Felix worked as Phanindra and
Vinu Kumar's senior colleague in a private firm on Bannerghatta Road.
The company provided internet services. The
victims eventually started Aeronics Internet after leaving their jobs, and
Felix believed Phanindra and Kumar were taking business away from his firm.
Employees further alerted investigators that Felix blamed Aeronics for his
company's financial problems.
