Voice 9, Patna: Muskan, a 14-year-old girl, refused to marry a young guy residing in the area, and the young man and his family members murdered the girl, the police said. The event occurred at Jodhauli, Marhaura, and Chhapra when a 14-year-old girl called Muskan was discovered hanging by her neck.
It is being told that Niyamat Mian, a resident of Jodhauli, was pressuring his 14-year-old daughter to marry Sibbu, the son of neighboring Nizamuddin. The incident of murder has been carried out on refusal. In this case, the police detained three people and started questioning them. While the main accused, Sibbu, is on the run, he is accused of constantly threatening the girl.
Muskan's mother, Ajmeri Khatun, said that Nizamuddin frequently pressured her to marry her son. Which she always declined. She said she had gone out and left her daughter Muskan alone at home. Nizamuddin and his sons then reportedly murdered the girl by hanging her in the neck, placing her on the bed, and covering her with a sheet.
Taufiq Siddiqui, the girl's maternal uncle,
stated that when the victim's mother arrived at the residence immediately after
the event, she noticed the three accused leave. When she went to wake up her
sleeping daughter, she discovered her lifeless body with a mark on her neck.
Then there was a commotion in the village.
Three suspects were apprehended and turned over to the police. However, the major suspect managed to escape.The police rushed to the scene and took the body to Chhapra for a post-mortem, and three persons were promptly apprehended in response to the protests of Ajmeri Khatun and the people.
In this respect, SP Gaurav Mangla stated that the accused had a previous dispute with the girl's family members over the same topic. The prospect of the girl committing suicide is also mentioned.
