Pradesh: A student at a Uttar Pradesh school was seen getting slapped
repeatedly by his classmates on the teacher's orders in a horrifying viral
video that went viral across the nation. The injured boy's family has now
spoken out to say that the act has caused him severe bodily distress.
The Muslim student
was taken to Meerut yesterday for a medical evaluation after he complained of
being disturbed and having trouble falling asleep the night before. The Muslim
boy had been slapped by his classmates in Muzaffarnagar on the teacher's
orders."

According to the father of the class 2 boy, "He felt upset because various

Tripta Tyagi, the
alleged teacher, continues to insist on her innocence in the matter, first
claiming that because of a disability, she was unable to correct the boy
herself and had to rely on other students to do so. A day later, Tripta Tyagi
changed her tale, telling the reporters that she did nothing wrong and that she
would not apologize. The teacher added that the video shared on social media
was wrongly edited and taken out of context to defame the school.
