Biswajit Mondal, Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: The formal inauguration of the operation theater has started today at the Ram Pal Upazila Health Complex in Bagerhat through cesarean. Dr. Sukant Kumar Pal, the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, informed us that, considering the financial instability of the general population in the Mofswal area, an initiative has been taken to perform general operations here at a minimal cost. He further stated, "Today, Dr. Jalal Uddin Ahmed, a civil surgeon in Bagerhat, inaugurated the operation theater. Our operation theater was already in operation. However, due to the absence of surgical doctors, the operation could not be performed even if there was a desire. Now, we have surgical doctors in our hospital.
Therefore, at 1 p.m. today, with the full cooperation of Civil Surgeon Sir, Dr. Monika Rani Kundu, Consultant (Gynecology and Obstetrics), and Dr. Laboni Pal, Assistant Surgeon, the operation started. On the very first day, a successful cesarean operation gave birth to a baby girl. We believe that in the future, we will be able to provide the best service to the general public by maintaining the continuity of our efforts.
Along with that, Civil Surgeon Sir, all the doctors in the hospital and all the staff express their gratitude."
Civil surgeon Dr. Jalal Uddin Ahmed stated, "This is truly a great initiative. Through this, the general population in the area will receive the best service within their reach. This initiative has been taken keeping in mind the welfare of the people in Mofswal and low-income individuals. I hope that through this, the suffering of the general population in this area will be reduced to some extent. Lastly, he expressed his gratitude and thanks to everyone.
