Voice 9, News Desk: On Friday, a 17-year-old boy was
allegedly slain, and his private part was cut off by the family of the girl
with whom he was having an affair in Bihar's Muzaffarpur village. On Saturday,
the deceased's family held a funeral outside the accused's home.
On Friday night, Saurabh Kumar, a resident of Repura
Rampurshah village in the Kanti police station area, was found at his
girlfriend's house in the neighboring village of Sorbara.
Irked by the youth's daring behavior, the girl's
relatives assaulted him viciously, causing significant injuries, according to
authorities. Saurabh Kumar was sent to a private hospital right afterward, and
his family was told of the incident. However, he died from his injuries the
same night while being treated, according to authorities. Kanti police sent the body for postmortem and
launched an investigation into the matter.
Rajesh Kumar, Superintendent of
Police, Muzaffarpur (City) said, "Prima facie shows that the boy was
killed over an alleged love affair. He was beaten and his genitals were cut
off. A postmortem is being done and further details about the injuries will be
revealed after the report comes."
