Voice 9, Jammu, News Desk: On Sunday, two people were killed and another injured in a landslide in the Gandoh region of Doda district, according to authorities.
According to them, at around 0800 hours, a bus
(JK02BD-8287) traveling from Gawari Gandoh to Jammu collided with a slide near
Bhanghroo Gandoh, trapping three people.
Immediately, a rescue effort was begun, and the victims were transported to SDH Gandoh for treatment. "Two persons who were brought to the hospital were declared dead on arrival," stated Vishesh Mahajan, District Commissioner, Doda.
Two others are receiving care." The
deceased have been named as Amit Sohail of Kahara, Doda, and Mudasir Ali of
Halore Changa by the police. The tragedy occurred as the bus was traveling from
Gawari village in Doda district to Jammu's Gandoh when it was hit by a
landslide, according to the official.
