FAMILY CRIMES, series
By Beth
Farrar
When genealogist Ellie McLellan’s Aunt Norma confessed to a long-held secret family crime, the senior genealogist group declared a road trip to the scene of the crime—a remote lakeside resort named Virginia’s Cabins. It's time to right that long-ago wrong. Since Norma was last at Virginia’s Cabins, things have changed. A lot.
Hustled together into cramped quarters, the senior genealogists must first confront the new resort owners, locate the treasure they seek and squash rumors. Aunty Norma was once a spy. She pulled off a surprise proposal and prodded Ellie into researching her most important case yet.
About the Author
Beth Farrar is a writer from Canada. She's been writing stories since her parents gave her a library card, which she used to check out a maximum of five books every week. Her imagination was stimulated from that time forward. English professors' encouragement put her on a serious road to studying the trade.
She honed her writing abilities by dabbling in everything from TV screenplays to feature films. Beth's happy place is filling notebooks with ideas, drawing people and places, and devising sticky scenarios for the heroes and heroines to survive (apart from strolling through cemeteries, but that's another story).
Beth authored a monthly column in the local English-language newspaper, Main Street, for fifteen years, providing unique insights. She lives with her husband and raises her three children.
