forced to drink urine on suspicion of theft. The boys, ages 10 and 15, were
allegedly assaulted in the Uttar Pradesh district of Siddharthnagar on
suspicion of stealing. According to reports, they were forced to drink urine
and had chili powder put on their privates.
The attack, according to the police, happened
Friday night but was only discovered Saturday because allegedly incidental
footage went viral.
A video that went viral showed two youngsters
exposed to a variety of wrong activities, according to Siddhartha, the
assistant superintendent of police in Siddharthnagar. As soon as the tapes were
made public, a lawsuit was started. There are now six people in detention.
According to the officials, the owners of a poultry firm believed the lads had
stolen money when they went to their shop on Thursday. "The accused took
over from them on Friday, beating them and treating them improperly. The
victims and the accused are neighbors and are from the same hamlet, according
to the Station House Officer (SHO) of the relevant police station. In this case,
eight people have been identified.
