Voice 9, News Desk: On Thursday morning, an accident on a flyover close to an ISKCON temple on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar (SG) Highway left at least nine people dead and 13 others hurt. The impact of the speeding car was so severe that the victims were thrown 20 to 25 feet away from the scene.
Among those killed in the collision were two
police officers. A "Jaguar" car traveling at over 100 kmph crashed
into a crowd that had collected there after a collision between two vehicles at
approximately 1 a.m. on Thursday, according to the police. "Hit-and-run"
has been used by Gujarat police to characterize the incident. Satya Patel, the
car's driver, is one of those hurt, according to the police.
According to reports, an SUV, a Mahindra Thar,
struck a dump truck from behind, causing a commotion on the road and

Young people from Botad and Surendranagar,
according to local media reports, were among the victims. After the collision,
the police briefly shut down the overpass near the ISKCON temple. As per local
