News Delhi: A total of 174 civilians were killed in J&K in 761 terror attacks in the erstwhile state in the last five years between 2018 and 2022. In contrast, over the same time period, 626 engagements in the Union Territory resulted in the deaths of 35 civilians. During the same time frame, 308 security officers were slain, while 1002 terrorists were defeated by security forces.
