INDIA IS NOW ON THE MOON

Voice 9: The heartbreaking memories of the Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander's failure in 2019 have been banished by the successful landing on Wednesday.
The Vikram lander gave up during the descent at a height of 2.1 kilometers before impact and fell onto the lunar surface. After that, it was unable to reach the ground stations.
But this time, everything went according to plan. The lander module's powered fall began at roughly 5.44 p.m., and 19 minutes later, at 6.04 p.m., the lander successfully landed on the moon. The successful landing prompted Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the country, proclaiming, "We have arrived where no one has before been. India is not the only country to achieve success. This achievement benefits all of mankind, and it will.

India has created history four years after Isro's previous attempt at Vikram, which was a component of the Chandrayaan-2 mission and ended in failure along with a billion dreams.
In order to progressively lower its velocity and direction to match the requirements of soft landing, Vikram carried out the powered descent exactly as Isro had intended, passing through all the stages—harsh braking, altitude holding, delicate braking, and the terminal fall phase—in a textbook fashion.
Vikram was better equipped this time to handle the difficulties of landing in order to do this. What made Vikram different from Chandrayaan-2, and how different was it?
After Chandrayaan-2 failed to soft-land, Isro spent nearly four years planning for failure scenarios and ensuring they were addressed.

Voice 9 salutes Indian scientists.
