Bangladesh: Petrol bomb hurled at a worship hall in Dhaka's Tanti Bazar

 


Voice 9, Dhaka Bureau: The incident took place at Tantibazar Puja Mandap under Kotwali police station in Old Dhaka. The robbers then hurled a petrol bottle at them. But it didn't explode.

Police have arrested three accused in the case. They are the sky (23). heart (23).  The Life (19). According to reports, three robbers stabbed four people behind the Tantibazar Puja Mandap while trying to snatch a woman's gold chain.

The incident took place at Tantibazar Puja Mandap on Friday (October 11) evening, said DMP Kotwali police station Officer-in-Charge Md. Anamul Hasan. He said the incident took place at Tantibazar Puja Mandap. During the robbery, the robbers threw a petrol-like bottle. But it didn't explode. Three accused have been arrested in this case. They have been brought to the police station.

Lalbagh Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC), Mohammad Jasim Uddin, said three people were brought to the police station. Footage from around the scene is being reviewed. However, we are yet to spot whether it was a robbery or some other incident. There was no report of any blast, he said, adding that a machete and a knife were recovered from the possession of the three hijackers. They are being interrogated.
